Information You Provide
Search Queries
When a name, county, state, or other term is typed into a third-party search tool, that query is sent to the provider operating the tool. Pope County Inmate Population does not store those search terms in its own database.
Messages
If you send an email or contact message, the information in that message may be kept long enough to read, route, and answer it. We do not share contact messages outside the organization unless required by law, court order, or another valid legal process.
Automatic Site Data
Like most websites, this site may collect basic technical data when pages load. That data helps measure performance, prevent abuse, and understand which Pope County record pages are used most often.
- IP address or similar network information.
- Browser name, settings, and version.
- Device type and operating system.
- Pages viewed and time spent on pages.
- Referring site or search source, if available.
- Date, time, and related access logs.
Cookies
Cookies and similar tools may be used to understand site use, remember basic preferences, support analytics, and help advertising partners measure activity. Browser settings can block or delete cookies, though some features may work differently after they are disabled.
How Data Is Used
- To keep the site available, readable, and fast.
- To send search requests to the appropriate partner service.
- To learn which jail, court, and locator pages are useful.
- To diagnose errors, broken links, security issues, and abuse.
- To display advertising that may be based on broad interests or page context.
Outside Websites
This site links to the Pope County Sheriff's Office, Arkansas court and corrections pages, the BOP locator, ICE locator resources, VINE, and third-party search providers. After you click an outside link, that site's own privacy notice controls what it collects and how it uses data.
Advertising partners may use their own cookies or identifiers to measure views, reduce duplicate ads, and show interest-based advertising across sites. That activity occurs on partner systems, not in a Pope County Inmate Population records database.
Who May Receive Data
We do not sell personal contact data. Limited data may be received by service providers or public authorities in the situations below.
- Search partners that process a query you submit.
- Analytics providers that measure traffic and page performance.
- Advertising networks that help support the site.
- Law enforcement, courts, or government bodies when a valid legal order requires disclosure.
Security Practices
Reasonable administrative, technical, and operational safeguards are used to protect information handled by this site. No internet-connected system can be guaranteed breach-proof, so we cannot promise absolute security for any message, log, or partner interaction.
Users Under 18
This site is intended for adults. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18. If a minor has sent personal information, contact us through the Contact page so the submission can be reviewed and removed where appropriate.
Your Data Choices
- Ask for a copy of personal data we maintain about you.
- Ask us to correct inaccurate contact information.
- Ask for deletion of eligible personal information.
- Opt out of certain processing where the law gives that right.
Notice Updates
This Privacy Notice may be changed from time to time. When it changes, the updated version will be posted on this page with the new effective wording.
